Preformance modifications

Start off with introducing myself I'm Mike and new to the forum. I was just wondering if I could get several of you to just like some of the preformance modifications you have made to your truck. I have a 07 with the 5.7 and ultimately looking to hit the high 300s to 4s. It would be greatly appreciated. Nothing in detail just what parts and maybe brands anything you think I might should know! Thank you all in advance.

Thumbs up

IMO...4:56 Gears best bang for the buck, CAI, Tuner, Long-Tube Headers, Y-Pipe, free-flowing muffler, improved throttle body...Then going internal you just decide what and where you want to go...Then look into superchargers or turbos...all of the components need to work in concert with each other - especially turbos and superchargers - calibration and tuning is a must...
There is a wealth of tried and true information on this site from mild to wild .

Welcome to HTC. The usual first three are CAI, muffler and Y pipe... then you can figure what your goals are for the truck and start your list.

I'm running a tune, headers, s&b intake, Edge stall converter, comp 260 cam and a Borla muffler. Truck is running good now, but unfortunelty I wanted more so now I'm going full blown stroker kit haha. If you hang out here, better start working that overtime real soon

Welcome to HTC!

Start with the basics I take and exhaust and then decide where you want to go from there because it will get pricey very quick depending on the route you take. We are here to help with any ? You have or need answered.

S&B Intakes are very nice and fit very well
As for exhaust well there is a ton of them out there. Main thing is if you get headers get the matching Y pipe to go with also don't run true duals or an X pipe it kills low end torque been there done that.
