Tripple fuel pumps, duel w/m injection and he's using the boost port on the fuel pressure regulator. Wow.

Sweet setup! Boost port not needed though lol. One pressure set and forget!

It does make me wonder why he's using the boost port with that fuel system setup. Have noticed, most people using HP Tuners on high hp cars are using the boost port on the fuel regulator. Wonder if HP Tuners has a fuel pulse/duration limitation on the injectors? Superchargers have a steady boost build. The fuel system and pcm should be able to keep up. High boost/hp turbo setups. Have seen lots of boost ports being used on those.

The boost port is not needed on lower Hp vehicles. When you get to the 800+ Rwhp range then you can use or should use it. The port is there to raise the output pressure in the feed line on a 1:1 ratio. This is not needed and makes tuning a pain below 800rwhp range. Once you clear that bench mark then it’s an entirely new game altogether. Also another thing to make sure is you have enough fuel pump if you don’t the boost port will be useless anyway like in my current situation running out of fuel lol. The port is nice yes it raises fuel pressure and helps lower the AFR by keeping injectors feed exactly what they want by overcoming pressure push back. The simple fact is though you don’t need to use it till way up there and it makes things so much easier to setup.

Also make note of factory boosted cars! Dodge does not use boost references regulators they have a set pressure regulated at the tank not after the rails running to the engines without issue for years. “KISS” “ain’t broke don’t fix it”

My understanding is it allows tuning for quality idle with a single injector size that can then increase it's volume as boost/fuel demands increase.
