Performance Cam

Hello All,

I don't post much, mostly lurk. If one of you guys could square me away with what cam to install for my 2005 Ram 1500 Quad 4x4. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to cams but I need one to help with low end torque. I pull a travel trailer and it likes to tow at 70mph. I don't know if a cam will help me keep the power I need at the 55mph speed limit. My mods are as follows SuperChips,4:56 gears, airaid intake, magnaflow exhaust, 6"lift and 35" tires. Thanks for any info you guys have.

Matt

hopefully some more knowledgable people will chime in. Without a lot of headache-a Competition Cams '260' model would be a way to go to increase some torque, along with(if your thinking California legal)some mid-length headers.

The 260 cam would probably be your best bet.

Not counting a custom made cam, I agree.

I just got my custom cam from STU today. Talk to him and explain what you want. Mine will be similiar to the 260 but more HP and TQ!!!! I wanted a torque cam for the same reason, 4x4 and heavy!!!
