Smile Oldmanram's 392 Stroker Build

So I am sitting here waiting for my motor to be delivered , since my original 2003 5.7 hemi only lasted till 253K miles .

The motor is the ATK SP97, A 392 cu in stroker

Specs Below:

Block: Seasoned OE Gen III Hemi 2003-2008
Bore/Stroke: 3.927 x 4.050
Displacement: 392 C.I.D.
Crankshaft: Scat 4340 Forged 4.050" Stroke Internally Balanced
Connecting Rods: Scat 4340 Forged H Beam 6.125" ARP 8740 Bolts
Pistons: Forged -2cc Flat Top
Piston Rings: Moly Rings
Compression Ratio: 81cc=9.9:1 /85cc=9.6:1/89cc=9.2:1(based off .028" gasket)
Camshaft Bearings: Installed & Clocked to OEM Position
Freeze Plugs: Installed & Sealed
Oil Galley Plugs: Installed & Sealed
I also had ARP Main Bolts installed

I'm going to use my 85cc heads and have them milled to get the compression to a little over 10:1

Well waited around and it FINALLY showed up !! WOOHOO
This is what ATK's crating looks like , not the greatest but adequate, the engines are protected in a thick plastic bag at least, and if have a concrete driveway you can get away with moving it around on a dolly like this .

I received :
The Balancing info on the crank

ATK's break-in procedure , 2 pages worth , good info , all of which I know , but at my age it's that they have written so I don't forget something .

and some stickers (ATK) (Mahle) (Scat) ..... owwww ahhhh

It looks like the block has been decked (milled) but by how much ??

One the extra's that I requested was ARP Main Studs & cross bolts....
And being the trusting sole I am , I emailed them twice for confirmation that they were in fact using ARP main studs & cross bolts ..

Confirmed !!!!

I can see the ARP 12 point cross bolts

and my cam came in tonight !!!
It's just a little bigger than a 6.1L cam ,
should be easy to tune , if needed
