Oil pans

Any interest in aftermarket, performance pans, Like a Milodon or OBX?
(These are not my photo's)
last night a friend of mine was over and we were talking about how there are few "performance oil pans" for the truck end of the hobby, he does custom Dirt track and drag pans and he's building a pan for his sons Dakota"s Hemi swap.

Any Ideas? suggestions? how would you design It. what would your price point be? ..what do you think a fair market price point is?
if he takes this project on it would be at least a year before the 1st pans would be available and they would include pick up tubes or AN fitting for dry/swing sump

Improved oil protection is always a good thing in my book. But I like the accessibility to the stock pan to drop it with the engine in the truck. Has there been issues using a stock truck pan for racing? If not, then for me I'll stick with the stock pan. Now if there is a improved version that is still easy to drop I'd get one.

Nice idea again more for a limited space application IMO. The stock pan is working fine for me as of yet.
