mds lifters

Which cylinders have the mds lifters? I am looking to buy my lifters and need to know which ones to replace.

Just get 8 of them then pull the heads off to get to them. You will also need the new lifters plastic basket type deals as I believe the mds lifters are a little diff in shape. I just did a cam swap two weeks ago at the house 3 days before moving out and I did lifters and the plastic pieces that guide the lifters also you can leave the mds lifter solenoids in place issue free you don't need the plugs to block them off.

If I remember correctly it 1/4/6/7 or reverse 2/3/5/8 either way it two left two right cylinders total of 8 lifters req and buckets/guides. Head pull with new gaskets timing cover stays on.

Thanks! I will be removing the timing cover as I am switching from a truck to a car timing cover. the mds lifters are going as well as the 5.7 oil pump, and timing chain set. and if funds allow a mild cam too!!!
