Help me choose a Cam..

Next mod on the list is a new cam. My current mods are in my sig below.

I'm going with Jay Greenes cam

street/strip 212/220 or a 210/218 if I want to focus on midrange and low end power more. Pricing is $525 for the cam and the pushrods are $150, valve springs vary on how nice a kit I want and how aggressive I go on the lobe pattern.

My goal is for good street performance. Max torque. Which one do you guys think? What valve springs?

Thanks

What does one cam give me vs the other? Is one more low or high end power?

I have the 210/218 .578/.573 113 cam from Jay. Overall im very pleased. I have an Edge 2800 converter as well. Almost wish i would have went a little higher on the stall. At about 3800 rpm you can feel the truck really start to pull. There is power below that, thats just where I feel it really start to pull. I also have Big Valve heads that are milled to raise the compression to 10.27:1

IMO, 3800 stall might make for interesting driving on the street. But no ones knows you ride better than you...

Did that cam give you more torque low end power or was it a high end increase?

Ram4, take a look at the description and spec's of the camshafts that are available for the Gen III hemi. You will see there is a trend of what makes cams perform at different ranges..
COMP Cams - Performance Camshafts, Lifters, Valve Springs, Rocker Arms
