Guage selections and pod ideas

So I'm planning on adding some guages to my truck in the near future and was wondering what guages you guys recommend. I like the look of the ones that match the factory dash guage from autometer but they are pricy. I was planning on going with AEM gauges but I just bumped into ones called maxtow that are cheaper and with the white face they kinda match. Anyone have any experience with these or am I better off sticking with AEM?

If your running a supercharger which gauges do you keep an eye on the most?

I was also thinking of the a pillar pod with the handle still on and maybe the triple pod above the windshield mirror. Does anyone have that one? Anyone have pods anywhere else on the dash? Looking for ideas on where to mount.

If you run a blower the innovative or the AEM is the WIDEBAND I would get for sure! I run the AEM and have for years on all my projects love it fast and accurate.

Fuel pressure
Boost
Wideband afr

The AFR guage is the one you will eyeball when wot if it goes lean(mean) you lift immediatly!

I'm partial to the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge. It plugs into the OBDII port and reads many of the sensors including IAT and trans temp. It also can provide alerts (flashing light) for different parameters such as knock sensor. Still need the wideband and boost. The triple pod works good IMO as it keeps the gauges in front of you for quick and easy reading.

Does the 06+ dash have the cubby hole under the radio? I plan to run some there. Like that hidden from the outside look

Mine does but it's way to small.

If I went with the single pod a pillar which guage do you guy recommend I put there? Boost or wideband? I'm torn between the top windshield 3 pod or the 2 pod behind the steering wheel. Seems like the one behind the steering wheel is easier to read. Anyone have that one? It looks like it'll block to much of the dash gauges..

IMO, w/band is way more important than boost. Now if you are using the Aeroforce gauge it would need to go on the pillar as you need to reach the buttons to select what you are looking at. Then I'd use the two gauge pod on the steering wheel for boost and w/band. My 2cents.

The column mounted setup is not that bad it doesn't block the guages. Bottlefedhemi has it I believe and there is no issue with seeing his guages. If you get one only make sure it AFR guage that's the most important guage you can have for boost tuning.

What do you guys think of this guage? I says it'll read air/fuel and boost. Will this work Keith?

I like the gauge, only thing I can see is it needs a MSD GMR Pickup (P/N #8918) to work on our hemi..
