hey guys I figured i would share this info for you just incase anyone has to do a fuel pressure check on their truck. accoarding to alldata the factory fuel pressure with key on engine off pump engage is 58 psi +/- 2psi. the fuel pressure at idle with the engine running should be accoarding to alldata is 60psi +/- 2psi.

2005 regular cab ram 1500 slt. AEM cai, Magnaflow custom bent catback exhaust,custom made y pipe to replace the resticive factory one, tinited windows, 07 charger hemi badges, Hughes master transmission kit (waiting in my tool box to be installed) and hopefully more to come..


2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T club cab. intense blue metallic. stock block,Eagle forged crank, Eagle H beam rods, Keith Black Icon Forged pistions, Comp 512/510 lift cam, Mopar R/T 2.02 valve heads, Mopar 1.7 ratio rockers, Mopar/ Doug Thorley tri Y headers, Mopar single plane MPI intake manifold, T&B 55 mm Throttle Body, Vortech V1sc supercharger, Snow water methnol injection, Hughes Race clutchs and steels, TCI torque converter.

fixing up cars is like pringles once you fix one up you can never stop.

if you lift you lose... dont get in it if you cant stay in it.

The 03's, are some what less.

Correct, '03s are 48 psi factory. Mine's thirsty so it idles at 68 psi and goes up from there.

good input jay. i was going off the alldata and sometimes they put incorrect info up. i double check for the 05 against the chrsyler dealer service information.

What kind of fuel pump or pumps, are you running FrostKing?

I'm hoping to keep both of my 03 fuel pumps at 50 to 58psi. If my setup works, I'll post up the mod on the forum.

I am using an'03 and '04 pump together in my original '03 basket. They are setup as a return style system and no longer use the stock pressure regulator or fuel lines.

Hummm... Did you have problems with it?
