Freed up some more HP for the track

This idea started last year when Chris (dodge3471) and I were talking at the track about rigging up an electric water pump. This is what I came up with. I bought one of the Moroso electric water pump drive kits and modified it to work on my Hemi.
The main pulley on the water pump is mounted via the big nut that was originally on the clutch fan. I cut it off and welded a big washer onto it so I could bolt the plastic Moroso pulley onto it. When I get to the track I just thread on the pulley nice and snug, then plug in the wiring for the electric motor, slip on the little cog belt, snug it up and I'm ready to go. In between passes I'll keep my battery charged up with my charger since I'll be running without a belt for the alternator. Hopefully the setup will shave some more time off for me.
All together I've got about $110 and 4 hours of tinkering around on it.
Once I get access to a video camera, I'll take a clip of it running for ya's

Nice work. You need to do a write up on that one after everything has been tested.

I'm hoping to get to the track in the next 3-4 weeks. I wanna get my 4.10's and TrueTrac installed first. Waiting on my SCT tuner to come as well. Got my new set of ET Streets yesterday. Just gotta get them installed on the wheels.
