Fast bleed down lifters

Will fast bleed down lifters set off my knock sensors, or can I get by with using them? I bought a set of Hylift lifters, and after I got them that occured to me. Have I bought a set of paper weights? https://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-Dodge-Ram-Chrysler-Jeep-HEMI-5-7-6-1-HYD-RACE-Roller-Lifters-Set-16-NON-MDS/192500989809?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.M BE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D52885%26meid%3Dbcbbd41105ca4f0 c90bba26180c086fd%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D 12%26sd%3D323306887258%26itm%3D192500989809&_trksi d=p2047675.c100005.m1851[/URL]

I have never heard of using them in a modern hemi and wouldn't use them. People complain enough about ticking lifter. To purposely install 16 noisey lifters is asking for a lot a noise it would seem. If you are having tuning issues I recommend talking to a tuner and address the problem directly.

They're used with very big high lift long duration cams to help the idle quality. Race only. Would call up HHP to find out how well they work for a Hemi.

I didn't intend on picking the fast bleeds up, I didn't notice the R instead of the S or SE after the part number. Lesson learned, no cyber shopping after 3 beers. I doubt they will give me a refund after I opened the package.

Give them a call and tell them you bought the wrong ones and want to trade them for what you want. Can't hurt to try...

I’m using hylift Johnson b-2335SE lifters and haven’t had a single issue, and a quiet valvetrain. The link you posted isn’t working for me, you said you got the ones with the “R” suffix?

Yeah, B-2335R is the part number on the box off the top of my head.

I use them on my 2014 with the comp cams 274 camshaft, had to turn the knock sensor way down, it would pull timing at 2500+rpm no mater what fuel we used.
The bleed only effects the way it idles. switching it over to solid set up over the winter.

That is the first time I've heard of them being used on one of our hemi's... since you are pulling them out I'll assume they are not a complete success.
