Here's the result of stacking the DS Performance tune on top of the SC 91 tune. The only thing I tweaked was A/F, which I leaned out a little at WOT to a consistent 13:1 from 4,000-5,000 RPM, then 12.9 above 5K. Haven't really played around with it too much beyond that to avoid a rapid disassembly event (BOOM). The peak output hasn't increased dramatically (maybe 10-15), but both TQ and HP are now sustained above 300 all the way to redline for a broad, flat powerband. I'm pretty sure the TC locks up almost immediately, because throttle response will snap your neck back right off the line (amusing when passengers are trying to sip coffee ). Not bad for a couple of canned tunes, a mild cam, stock heads, 35's, and a Dana 60.

Here's my first dyno from 2005 with nothing more than an AIRAID CAI and a Borla cat-back.

good stuff

Wonder if part of the difference might be the gear dynoed in?
33" tires with 3.92 gears return close to 150 mph in 3rd so dyno's often do them in 2nd or 2p to get full rpm pulls and less risk to the dirveshaft.
Now with 4.56 gears rev limit is closer to only 125 mph in 3rd and a "little" safer

Something else I just realized was the difference in overall gearing. So, the old dynos were done in 2nd gear (1.67:1) w/ 33" tires and 3.92 gears. This one was done in 3rd (1.00:1) w/ 35's and 4.56 gears, so I'll have to do the math here in a min to figure out the % difference in final output between two configurations. Basically, if I had done this dyno in 2nd, the output probably would have been a bit higher.

Very interesting Freeze. You were able to get your 03 computer to do this. Hummm..... How's does it drive under normal every day driving? Any problems showing up?

If I'm looking at it correctly, the combined gearing (tranny x differential) is as follows:

OLD: 1.67 x 3.92 = 6.55
NEW: 1.00 x 4.56 = 4.56

What my brain really isn't tracking well on right now is how to plug the difference in tire size into the torque equation. 33/35 = .94, so would I multiply the new combined gearing by .94? Even without the .94, the rotating weight has increased and moved further from the axle centerline, meaning it takes more torque to move. So, my truck is making more power, especially on the top end, despite a decrease in combined gearing and greater drivetrain/parasitic loss (heavier components on the D60). Am I looking at this properly? I guess another 2nd gear dyno pull would tell me for sure, but I'd rather not shell out the extra bills.
