What the hell is going on? Yu just got her running.. Or did I miss something?

Back in the day we'd sleeve the hole. I don;t know if it is done on the hemi, but don't see any reason not to. Hard to tell what it would take to clean-up.

I have heard of more hemi engines wrecked by hydrolocking then all the other manufacturer's put together. It has to be the the CAI's we use. Maybe a sticky with a warning about this is needed for the new comers. I use to think it was mostly our brother's who played in the mud, but apparently I am wrong. Good luck with your build.

The only way to "fix" it would be a cylinder sleeve. I run across this frequently with sbc. Assuming there are no cracks, or other damage, round off any sharp edges, hone with a flat blade type hone to remove any raised edges. The depressions on the cylinder wall will fill with oil, and be of no consequence.

Their just some ding marks at the lowest part of the cylinder. The pic makes it look worse than what it really is. Was surprised to find all other parts in great condition including no.1 piston.

The Wiseco pistons still look new except with a little carbine on the crowns. These pistons have seen 12psi boost while testing the front mount turbo.

All of the cylinder bores are 3.9373 +/- .0003

Top ring gaps .026 to .027(no.3 cylinder)

Second ring gap .032
