cam and heads opinions

Im back again with more questions about modding my truck further. Ive been looking at cam and heads for my truck. Im trying to find the best choice for the most power but keeping the truck streetable. So im going to need some help from some of you cam guys out there. I was looking at inertia motorsports spartan cam and their performance heads. But ive seen alot of comp 268 cams but nothing really about heads. I understand if it might need a stall and that is okay. Any input would be appreciated.

Get some stage 2 ported heads from someone with bigger valves and a comp268 or something close to that get it tunes and enjoy! Stall converter suggested with a 268 but I think some have run without it

I agree with Keith, Stage II heads should still allow the stock intake manifold to be used without issue. If you go bigger then sealing can be a problem. As for cams I'm seeing more lift with and duration doing well. Tuning makes the mod... anyway my 2 cents..

Ok thanks guys any advice or tips are welcome. As this is my first time and want to do this properly. There seems to be alot of stage 2 heads out there, so are there any prefered brands? I was also thinking of forged push rods too and thanks again.

IMO, "Trend" is the only way to go with push rods.
