Best Progeammer

Hey all,
I was wondering which tuner will give me the best gains for my buck. All my truck is used for at this point in time is daily driving and towing my travel trailer. The reason that I'm really looking for a tuner is because while towing I hardly ever get into overdrive on the flats. Also trying to improve the mileage a little. With your tuners do you all feel the gains through the whole power band or just in the high revs.
Let me know what you all think,
Nayls

Sorry about that. 2009 2500 ST, Crew Cab, Hemi 4 wheel drive. Have stock muffler removed with Jones Glasspack installed in place of muffler. No cold air intake as of yet but I've been looking into the S&B dry filter assembly

I'll let those who are familiar with the 09 chime in. If not heavily modified most likely SuperChip when mostly interested in trans tuning.

It depends on your goals. I wanted control of the transmission and didn't like the factory shift points. I use a DSP Trinity. I wouldn't need a Trinity necessarily but I got a deal on a used one.

Side note: you don't want to be in overdrive ever when towing. The 545RFE has a weak OD. Fuel mileage gains from a tuner are nil when towing and only a couple unloaded....maybe. Best tank I have gotten so far with my '11 is 16.4 and that was on a long trip. Most of the time it's in the 13.X range unloaded.

Personally, I like my SuperChips CORTEX 3950, which allows three levels of tune, Custom tune, and transmission tuning. I run the 91 Octane Performance tune on my 07' QC truck.
