The ATI balancer has a key way in it but I don’t use the key way I pinned my crank for the blower since I had already installed my front cover. My crank has a key way slot but I don’t use it either

ok I bought a ATI 918433 balancer. Any tips to how to install this dam thing. The eagle crank bolt threads are too deep for the install stud to screw into. the Stock bolt is too short to reach to help which even if it did you can not install with stock bolt without stripping the hole..

Did anyone have to have there ATI honed out to fit Mine goes on about an inch and then stops.

Or is there some trick to installing this damper because I'm all out of thoughts.

I made a install bolt long enough to screw all the way in and then have a washer with a bearing, using a nut to pull it on. I also had Arrington hone the damper. I have had mine on and of a couple of times.

Measure your crank and the balancer make sure the press for is not to much mine had to be opened up a good bit to fit correctly.
