Any one know what this is?!?!?

I took the truck for a little spin today and the check engine light came on. I checked it out and this is what i got:
P0420 Catalyst Efficiency (Bank 1)

Any info would be sweet. Thanks guys!!

If you're running stock cats, then it's a bad O2 sensor. If you're running aftermarket high-flow cats, then more than likely it's the O2 sensor mis-reading the exhaust flow.

Use your programmer to clear the code... see if it comes back (code could have been fluke). Better to do that first before you go out and buy a new O2 sensor).

I got that same code after about six months of running high-flow cats. Do a forum search for "O2 mod" or "O2 simulator" - there's a mod you can do (inexpensive) that pulls the O2 sensor away from the exhaust main stream. Supposedly it works pretty well.

Same code I'm getting from no cats. When I clear it sometimes it comes right back on and sometimes it will stay gone for a few days

While we're on the subject

Which is bank 1 and bank 2 and which is 1 and 2

One of my codes is for bank 2 sensor 2 and i THINK the other is bank 1 sensor 1

All I could find so far on this subject is that Bank I Sensor 1 is the front O2 sensor on the driver's side.

bank 1-driver side
bank 2-pass. side
sensor 1-front o2 sensor
sensor 2-after cat o2 sensor
