Abused & Chattering
I've been overseas since September 2015 and left the truck parked outside until just a few weeks ago. 2 -40 and 4 ft of snow winters later it clearly needs a little work.

So far I know the outer CV boots are cracked - no problem
Had to re-grease just about everything - no problem
Oil change sadly had been about 10,000km/2 years between but it had been parked most of that time.
First up, belt squeals/chirps like an army of crickets. I'll be pulling the belt tomorrow (weather permitting) to check this out. Belt looks fine so I'm guessing a bearing is going somewhere. Sure I'll find that.
The one sound I really can't figure out though is a sort of clicking/chattering like someone is spinning a noise maker. This sound does not happen on idle or when stopped. Only occurs when driving a nice even speed.
Once it starts, just tapping the gas even the tiny bit, not even enough to change speeds or kick out the MDS stops the noise for a bit.
Noise continues while coasting until about 10km/h.
Any thoughts? Things I should check while messing around with the belt?
My initial thoughts are maybe it's a CV joint but I doubt it.
Might be something related to MDS or maybe even water pump/ac/alternator bearings giving up.
Engine has also thrown a code from time to time. A few days/week on, then days/weeks off then comes back.
Can't remember the code exactly but the description was related to the MDS solenoids on oil pressure dropping below 35psi
