6.1 valves in 03-08 5.7 heads ?

6.1L valves in 5.7L heads , ??
Just curious if anyone has done this ................
Any problems associated with it ?

Yes I have done it . I also ported and polished several sets of heads . I also actually have several brand new Mopar sets for sale if you or anyone else is interested.

Have the Intake seats been replaced ?
what valves are you using ?
Springs used ?

I will sell them cheaper than listed on there. Seats have not been replaced. The springs are new. The valves are stock. My phone number is in the the pics. https://www.ebay.com/itm/173927244593

The intake valve works nicely with very little work, but the Exhaust valve is too big unless you do some major port re-shaping. 1.60 is a good choice, typical SBC size valve just make sure it's a 5/15(8mm) size.....for the knock down drag out all out max build Look for a Nail head style Exhaust valve not the traditional tulip...it's worth the effort, the 392 I built for the Purple 05 picked up [email protected] between 5700-6500.

Have to disagree with going to bigger valves in a gen 3 5.7 85cc cylinder head. You can have the port seats cut back and put in Manley Pro flow(just as an example) stock size oem valves to increase the flow through the gen 3 5.7 head intake and exhaust ports. It's a different story going with gen 4 eagle heads. Look at these valve seats closely.
