195 degree stat runs hotter than factory

i installed a Stant #14039 195f/90c and the engine runs at 93/95 my factory one used to be 88/90, what's up with that, also at the autoparts the guy recommended a STANT Part # 14948 {Heavy-Duty Thermostat - 186 Degree Reverse Poppet (2 17/64" x 3/4" x 1 27/32") w/Jiggle Pin, Seal}
it goes on a Chevy Trail Blazer SS and he states that it's the best match can anybody confirm?
186 seems to be good

I think the Stant I use is a 180. I had to trim it 1 mm. It reads about 2/3 as hot as the original and doesn't throw any codes. Could you have installed it backwards?

Yep, the thermostat has a air bleeder, also the temperature is unstable wile driving, i think the problem is the bypass valve

I run the stant 195* with jiggle pin, and my temp runs a consistent 10-12* cooler than the factory thermostat. Something doesnt sound right.

This one is running 90/93 which is supposed to it's the factory one that was running cooler than normal at 88/90 and the e fan has no affect on the temperature if the thermostat doesn't open the coolant wont go in no matter how cold it is, it's not overheating or nothing it's just strange.
also the base at 1.09" seems smmal compared with the factory one at 1 3/8
