03 4.7 harness to 05 5.7 harness

I really didn't want to do this at this point in time in my build but I guessi have too. ill be taking the plug in this conversion and yall get to come with me. first things first I found the pinouts in the manual for both years and made documents that will help me compare the two. from there ill pull the necessary wires from the 05 harnesses and integrate them to the 03 harness. sounds easy but trust me its not. not only do I have to pull those wires from the 05 harness I also have to pull some of the plugs as they differ slightly from engine to engine. ill take as many pics as possible but the ones yall would need are included. here we go!!

There has been a few of us that have done 03 to 05 (5.7) pcm swaps. If I can suggest take your pin-outs and make them the same size so the number lines for each plug line up with one another. Then tape each plug pin-out side by side to determine which pins have the same function or not. I think you will be surprised how the plug pins match up.
