03-08 Hemi Intake crossection

I don't know if this is old news or not, but I've never seen the inside of the intake manifold. Well I've been curious to what it looks like...I had a bad manifold...and I have a sawsall...so..

I can get better pictures if you want. Also if anyone is interested in any other internals, I still have the sawsall I kinda want to know how the pcv system works, so let me know what else to cut apart

Lol something I have never seen before. The pcv system is pretty basic pulls vapors up from the small ports in the head into the intake manifold thru the valve that’s twisted into the intake.

Very interesting! Long intake runners. That's why this intake manifold is so good.

Could you cut the intake manifold length wise down the center. Want to see the underside ports too.

Cross section the port and check out the approach radius to the manifold flange.

Now what is this hole here? This is an 06 manifold. On my 03 manifold the hole is there, it's just plugged internally. This one is completely open and I never had a cap or anything to plug it. Any idea's?

Now you see why the Hemi truck manifold makes so much tq for our trucks. Long runners. Made out of plastic = low heat transfer.

Thanks Chris.
