Windshield washers are not spraying

When I press the button to spray washer fluid onto the windshield nothing sprays out and I don't hear anything other than when the wipers turn on after I let go of the washer button.

I would assume there is a pump that's not working since there is not any noise. Looked for a fuse, but didn't see one.

The hose could be clogged up somewhere, however I'm not sure if that would cause the pump not to kick on that's why I'm not hearing any noise.

Any tips?

Might take two people to see if the pump is working. My washer motor is very quiet.

Might try a test light on it's plug.

Get a helper and put your hand on the pump and have them squirt it. Of the pump runs you will feel it. Sometimes the screen in the tank gets plugged and a little air backwards frees it up. A line may have come off near the coal passenger side. It may not have power test and get back to us

Thanks for the info. I had my wife hit the button and I could feel a kick from the pump. Didn't have time to do anything else, going to try in the morning after work.

Any particular way to blow air backwards through the line to clear the screen? And if that doesn't work should I look for next? I've checked the hose out all the way up to the cowl but didn't have time to mess with the plastic rivets to move it.

If the line is leaking somewhere you will see a good stream of water. Disconnect the line near the cowl area and have her spray it make sure to point it away from you lol. If it sprays you need new nozzles if it doesn’t use compressed air and just give the hose leading to the pump a few quick bumps do t hold it the try and spray again if still nothing after that need new pump.

I did actually try what you suggested now that I think of it, and no fluid came out of the disconnected hose on the pump end. Will see what I can find to pump some air in there in the morning and get back to you.

Really appreciate the help, thanks Charged
