What sensor goes behind the PCV?

Hi yall,

Im rebuilding an 03' Hemi. Man if really impressed by these engines. They are very well designed (mostly). Im actually having a good time swapping the old one out for the new one.

Anyways, my question, i ordered a new intake for the new engine, and the port behind the PCV valve is OPEN on the new intake. Where as the old intake this port is closed.

Anythoughts on how to plug it off? What is the original sensor/device that goes in this port? I would just buy one and put it in there?

Anyways, thanks a bunch in advance. Wish I would have found this place sooner. I wonder how many things ive done wrong, that im yet to figure out.

On 04 to 08 Hemi engines(gen 3), that's the port for the egr tube to go into. 03s don't have a egr valve. You could use a tap to put some threads into it for a plug.

Welcome to HTC.

Can't tell how big the hole is but what about a small freeze plug that has the rubber bushing and nut that squeezes it tight

Thansks buddy. Thats what I needed.

I'll machine a more permanent one later. Not sure I have a tap that big on hand. But that would be super quick!

My next question, where do these two plugs plug in? I cant find any place on the throttle body or intake where they might plug into.

Those two plug into the body harness. The purple one has 16 pins and is c106. These are your coil and injector ground controls from the pcm. The other I believe is engine temperature. Both plugs are located in the rear drivers side of the engine bay.

Thanks for the help.

I made a plug and threw some orings on it and some anerobic gasket sealer. It pressed in with about 50lbs of force. Snapped right in place. But I think I might still put a screw in it. ?
