Water pump replacement's???

Found a little bit of antifreeze under the truck today. Just taking a quick look it appeared it may be coming from the water pump. I looked up pump price's on replacement's just to see what it might cost. Wanted to stay with Mopar, but they think there's are gold. ($250 and up, +ship.) Anyone know who make's our Mopar pump's? Looking for a new quality replacement, what do you guy's suggest. (keep in mind my raised wot shift point's.)

It's Crazy!!! Just can't justify that price for a now pretty common water pump.

Rockauto has a handful of pumps in the $50 range.

James I'm well versed with advance auto. Have an account and trt30 is my friend. lolol I guess you know they bought out CARQUEST about a yr. ago. The only new pump they show on the site is a CARQUEST pump. If you read the review's it's not good and make's you leary of trying it. So IDK if I want to take that route or not.

Checking Summit and Rock Auto, Summit only has 1, a GMB. Rock Auto has that aswell only cheaper. ($30 cheaper for the same pump) Also had some other's that are cheap like Greg said. I'm just not familiar with the brand's to make a good choice. The price's make me think rebuilt also at Rock Auto. I just want a NEW, RELIABLE pump at a decent cost.

It's hard to deciede, need more feed back. I know you guy's have at the age of out truck changed out the water pump? What did you go with and how's it holding up.

I agree, RockAuto.com has the best prices, 5 pumps to choose from, starting at less than $50.00.

I had one from advanced or autozone an it started leaking about 2.5 years in that's when I replaced it with an oem one. But I didn't pay near that much

Well over the years I have come to find out all the pumps except the dealer pumps are junk. Pretty much all the pumps are made by the same or 2 makers and boxed diff. At work we have two options dealer or the roulette wheel lol. Get a pump new from advance or discount anywhere but dealer and it's a toss up may last a year may last 5 years.
