Trans input/output sensors

How do they work. Are you supposed to have rpm on input when at idle...

That’s normal. When in park and neutral the front input hub spins with the converter. When you put it in gear the clutches in the drum hold so the drum doesn’t spin but the converter slips allowing you to sit still. Soon as you start to love they will climb up and should match pretty close until lockup then they should be the same. Are you having an issue making you ? Something

Yes, I am having issues, but I don't know if motor is causing trans issues or trans causing motor issues... only code I get from time to time is p0300...its hard to describe. I want correct it so I can get to the pcm swap...

I could be wrong about this, but I assumed the input rpm is actually engine rpm. P0300 is missfire and be addressed with idle speed usually.

The 300 may Ben nothing sometimes the cams will set a 300 code below 2200 rpm for no reason and a 2003 we cannot turn the flag off for that code. Does it actually missfire.
