question about Guage Custer removal?

Has anyone removed their gauge Cluster? If so, do you have any pictures of the cluster? Moving on to the next step, has anyone taken their cluster apart? It's serviced as a unit, but that doesn't always mean it can't be taken apart......

Did find this pictures showing a bunch of screws leading me to believe it does come apart.

It comes out in less that 5 mins sir! Remove the panel by your knees first then remove the screws in the Panel above the column and I think two on the sides near key and light switch then slide that panel off and the cluster is rite there 4 more screws and its out. As for taking them apart I have done so also. I have only added an indiglow face to it and never actually played with removing any guages or what not.

Was easy, remove the center dash, remove the driverside vent, remove lower driverside panel, remove the cluster benzel and then four screws holding the cluster in place. There are three slectrical plugs that can be reached around from the side. And then the entire cluster can be removed. Mine was a little more difficult has I have toggle switch I had to unplug.

Don't really know. After I put it back together they all read correctly.

As many of you know I currently use a B&G reflashed (03 manual) pcm. With Keith's CMR tuning to nail it down. One of the thing's I had flashed was emissions was turned off. Unfortunately this shouldn't have been done as DTC's are generated in the gage cluster when it doesn't receive an initial signal from the PCM saying the emission checking protocol is activated. So my advice is leave the emissions to the CMR tuner and not just remove them from the PCM.

I had the gauge cluster out on my '06 to change a couple burnt out back lights. It's not any more difficult than pulling the radio out
