Unhappy Power Window problem

I'm the original owner, I have a 2007 Dodge megacab. Rear passenger door window will go down but not up. I checked the switch and swapped the front switch for the rear one and still, the window goes down and not up. I used a grounded test light and tested the plug at the motor and I'm getting power to both. I figured the motor was bad so I bought a new one. The new one does the same thing as the old one. Down but not up. What am I missing?

Mega cab open the door and check the wiring in the door jamb they always break there is actually a new door harness available with wires that flex a little better and don’t break.

Does that wiring harness also apply to the quad cab models?

would a broken wire in the harness keep the window from coming back up?

It’s always the mega cans too it’s annoying that’s for sure. Glad you found it. You can fix the wire yourself at work if a customer wants to be a little cheap on the fix we use flexible speaker wire of the same gauge and just extend the broken wire a touch in the middle area
