Power steering pulley help

So I threw a new power steering pump on this truck and it seems that this pulley is one groove wider than the old one. The pulley is actually wider overall so the grooves for the belt still seem to line up fine. Anyone experienced this and should I just leave it?

As long as it lines up it should be fine my balancer has an extra groove and so does my supercharger been running for years issue free. Just makes sure the belt is sitting on the farthest back grooves.

Ya. I took it off the tensioner again and checked it. Grooves line up fine. It doesn't want to sit in the very far back groove though. That seems to be the extra one. But it lines up fine and sits where it wants and it seems to have kicked the squeal so far.

So just for my own knowledge see if you can explain this to me. So after I put the new pump in, the belt was on the back groove all the way. It still squealed something aweful until I started adding fluid and cycling it lock to lock. Then I noticed the belt seated itself over a groove. So you think the squeal was coming from lack of fluid at first or maybe the belt until it seated? Makes me curious as to what was making the last pump squeal.

I know that feeling, Is it the pump squealing or the belt ? Next time it's squealing take a can of WD40 and spray it on the belt, while at idle, if it stops squealing it's not the internals of the pump, but something to do with the pulley or belt alignment or tension.
