Popping Sound

I have a 2005 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 Quad cab and am getting popping sound coming from my truck when I turn the steering wheel, even when I don't turn it and just start accelerating from a stop position it will pop at a low speed. I think it may be the CV joint but not 100% on that. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Someone more familiar with the 4x4 trucks will help you soon.

That is a common symptom of bad CV joints. Try lifting the front to check both ball joints and CV joints.

Ball joints and tie rods can pop the axles are more prone to clicking on turns than popping! Also make sure the upper control arm bushings are still good arm may be shifting around on you!
