Plugs etc.

What is everybody using. My builder put iridiums in there and I'm starting to get an occasional misfire when cold. I'm also using Taylor Shorties, they're about 2 yrs old. They are getting swapped out too. Also, are the aftermarket MSD or Accel coils worth the extra coin for anything but looks. Still have the originals in there and out 156K miles, they are probably tired too.

Coils have had a lot of discussion about them. I have heard more complaints about shorty's than with stock wiring. I replaced my 03 coils with salvage yard 06 dual coils a couple years ago. No complaints, fairly recently I replaced them with SoS coils. And I still have no misfire or complaints. Pretty much your choice.

Only running stock Champions here. While its my daily driver our speed limit is 60 mph max so the truck never gets pushed.
I'm taken by the regular comments aired here which suggest 100 thousand miles on a truck is considered a low mileage. Here its looked at as being high.

On my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Hemi, I run CHAMPION COPPER PLUS 570 Spark Plugs. No problems at all with the plugs or coils.

NGK 5306 {#LZTR4A11} V-Power Info
V Power Spark Plug; .044" GAP

Getting these, what's the usual expected life out of a normal plug like these. As opposed to iridiums etc ?
