Pcm flashing questions?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove certain things from a 2003 ram pcm. Such as evap system and change from aw abs to rw abs. Remove airbag controls remove HVAC just so I Ave no codes there are no airbags or HVAC controls in my truck as I am running the 1994 HVAC Which is vacuum controlled

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area
Thanks in advance

The 03 pcm being the bastard child of the hemi pcm's is limited in what can be done with it. I don't know if cmr tuning can tune off the emissions. A custom flash from B&G can turn it off. But with that said I wouldn't waste the money having it done on a 03 pcm. I'd recommend first swapping in a 05 pcm and then decide what you want to have done to it. I speak from experience, the 03 pcm is a troublesome pos.
Welcome to the forum. Tell us more about what you have done... sounds interesting.

I'll start a new thread about my truck called "what I have"
On the subject of pcm I've read a bit about switching to 05 pcm but I thought that involved also switching wirring harness and other components along with it in order to run properly. Or is it just plug and play for the pcm alone?

A few of us have swap to an 05 pcm from a 03. My truck isn't a good example as I have a 96' 46rh trans in it running stand alone. You would need to remove the 03 tcm and move the wires over to the 05 pcm. There are a couple threads that cover what needs to be done for the swap.

Oh ok well I'll do a search and have a look around see if I can get my hands on some parts ....is it just 05 or is it possible with 06 or early 07 ?

I would stay with the 05 pcm. You want to stay clear of the years with mds.

ok thanks. another question. is there any changing of software needed to do the swap like do I need to program the PCM to match my SKIM and Cluster or should it be just plug and play besides the swapping of pins for the TCM to the 05 connector and the 02 sensors?

I've never had skim on my truck so haven't had to deal with any of it. I have used both new a salvage yard pcm's and just plugged them in. The 05 pcm I have I bought new and had B&G flash it for what I wanted. Never gave skim a thought.

Those kind of changes require OEM level engineer's software.

Just a note: B&G is flashing custom tuning using pcm oem code.
