New code P-0546

First thanx to all who helped the last time I had questions. Sort story is 2011 5.7 tapping sound. They replaced the cans haft tapes ND a whole bunch of other stuff. My extended warranty covered everything...yup everything.
Now gas cap light came on so I got a new one and it still stayed on. Then the engine light came back on. Now I have a code P-0546. Looks like the old girl is starting to nickel aND dime me.
Open for suggestions..

Ok that's a gross evap leak. The gas cap you changed which is normally the issue but there is a few more spots to check first. Under the hood make sure the purge valve near the battery has two lines going to it one from frame other to Intake. Make sure this does not have any flow remove from truck and blow thru it shouldnt be able to at all. If that good then climb under the truck and make sure all the lines you can see and touch are Intact and not torn/chewed or disconnected in any way. If that's good then you need to change the little valve on the evap canister that is black and white in color. It's called an ESIM switch or evap vent valve of the service guy knows older terminology. These are very common for going bad they cannot be cleaned so changing is only option. Simple lift clip rotate valve and always use a new seal on it or it will leak again.
