Intake valve

So found out have no compression on cylinder 1 pulled valve cover broken intake valve spring cannot get cylinder to seal in order to change it does that mean valve bent

Ok, it's making more sense now. I usually put a nylon wire tie around the valve stem to prevent it from dropping into the cylinder. Pushing the stem down maybe a half an inch and then lifting the stem quickly to slap the valve onto the seat it makes a solid dull thunk, if you don't get that solid thunk, then the stem is bent. But not being able the seal the cylinder with air is also a very good indicator it's bent. I'd recheck it again and if the results are the same then it sounds like the head needs to come off.

Sounds like it's a bent issue for sure sadly the head will likely have to come off

When I broke a valve spring the valve dropped into the cylinder and got crushed when the piston came up. Had to remove both heads and had them redone.
