I can't find it...

I have a 2004 2500. I also have an extreme pack rat problem where I live. That said, I just started getting an occasional check engine light, and determined that a low oil pressure indication was causing it (it only lasts for seconds). I suspect the %$&*%$#@% pack rats as the cause of the problem in spite of my anti-pack rat measures. I have a full set of manuals for my truck and been through them from top to bottom more than once. What I cannot find is the location of the oil pressure sensor and where the wiring from it to the PCM is located. This is too serious of a problem to put up with, as I want to know what my oil pressure is at all times. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

I added an oil pressure gauge and plumbed it in a "T" with the factory sensor. The factory sensor is nothing more than a dummy light that turns the gauge in your dash on at 7 psi but you need to keep it happy or have a check engine light on, so I run both.

Yep, at one time I had a little mini gauge screwed into a tee so I could check idle pressure.

I did the same thing since I consider oil pressure and tranny fluid temp. very important. I still have my dash oil pressure gauge working.

Thanks for the help! I have a small fuel pressure gauge that I used under the hood on my Challenger until I installed one in a pod on my overhead console. I wonder if it would work for oil pressure on my Ram? I don't believe I have an oil pressure problem, but this is bugging the heck out of me.
