Help with a GPS tracker?

Hello friends! I am looking for a new GPS fleet tracking device for my truck as the one installed now has got damaged. I tried online and got confused by lots of companies out there. A few like Eaglei GPS in Toronto, Rand Mcnally, Garmins caught my attention with some fair share of good reviews, but still I am not entirely convinced about which one. Can someone help me choose one? I would also like if you could say what feature makes it stand out compared to others. Thanks!

An old Iphone hard wired for power thru the truck makes for a good gps location device too. Find my iPhone or the gps tracking app always on and walla never loose it. Garmin is what I would use if I didn't have spare phones.

I use the Garmin ZUMO 220 GPS Unit, which was purchased for my 2007 Harley Davidson Fatboy, and is waterproof.

The Zumo is not for vehicle tracking.

How much do you pay for a data plan on the iPhone you leave in your vehicle? Seems like an expensive option as far as monthly costs go.

My iPhone i have laying around is hacked the only thing that works on it not on a plan is the location/Gps app and 911 lol. For some reason the two are an automatic must be available deal I guess. Worst case a cheap plan is like 6-10$ for basically Internet only that will not be used unless needed.

Seriously!? The Find My iPhone app works with no data plan? That is sweet.
