Harmonic Balancer Question

Hi,
So I own a 2003 RAM 5.7 , and am rebuilding a motor for it, using a 2006 5.7 JEEP block , problem whoever took off the old harmonic balancer chipped a piece of it off, so I want to replace it. BUT do I replace it with a 2003 or a 2006 harmonic balancer ?, the original 2003 OEM number is no longer used.
Will ANY pre 2009 truck balancer work ?
thanks again for your input !!!

FYI
On Ebay they show the 03-04 balancer as well as the 05-08 balancers, so what is the difference ?
I am using an 06 RAM timing cover, if that matters ........

Main thing is make sure it's a truck balancer shoot for 2005-8 range and you will be fine.

I would expect them to handle normal useage without issue. If you need high performance then go with ATI. Their balancer will handle whatever you throw at it.

So I did some research about the balancers for the trucks on rockauto.
They call for the same balancer 2003-2008 for 5.7 RAM trucks,
Dayco PB1681N
However the JEEP 5.7 balancer is a little smaller diameter , and a little shorter but the crank diameter is the same.
Sooooo , putting a truck Balancer & Timing Cover on a jeep motor should work to line up the pulleys on my ram .............
Make sence ????? anybody ?
