Front left squeak-weird symptoms

Okay, so I have this hard rubbery squeak in the front left somewhere. I haven't had a chance to jack it up yet due to weather, but I did take a light up under it to see if anything was noticeably rubbing. I didn't see anything real obvious. But I figured I would get an idea of a few things to check once I can.

I figure jacking it up I need to jack it up to simulate it being on the road for one correct? As in not letting the wheel hang free.

The only time it does it is in reverse with the wheels turned to the right. Starts about one full turn of the wheel and it is intermittent, not continuous. And nothing in drive turning either way.

Can a CV boot get a "dry" spot or something causing something like that? But I would imagine that would do it turning either way. Just seems odd that it is that specific.

Im gonna jack it up tomorrow. After talking to a friend of mine about it I'm suspicious of a control arm bushing. That'd be okay. Quick cheap fix.

OK so my upper ball joints on both sides are shot. I was looking at upper control arms and some of them have a fitment note of they fit the forged control arms. Does this mean they do not fit if I have the stamped steel upper control arms? Or does this mean they fit both styles? I'm confused. I would imagine they put that on there so people know they still fit if they have the forged. Seems odd that Dodge would make two different control arms that weren't interchangeable.
