composite manifold

I understand that the manifold in my 2008 Ram 1500 is composite. the truck has 120,000 miles and I would like to do the Seafoam treatment thru the vacuum lines. I was told this could blow up or ignite the manifold. Is this true? Anyone have this happen?

Never had sea foam create an issue. Run it from a jug thru a line with a small pin hole vacuum leak at the bottom of it and it will go slowly and you can idle truck and run it they the truck.
