Break booster issue.

Took the head off my 2011 5.7 to install new lifters. Had to remove my break booster and after I put it back on the petal doesn't hit the switch. It's about half of a inch off. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

Make sure it against the firewall fully and bolted down correctly. If that’s good then maybe the brake switch just got moved back a little bit and that’s a simple twist and push in then twist normally unless you have the clicker style switch where the org needs to be pulled out and reset

Grab that black plunger and pull it out it will click a lot looks like you hit the switch and forced it all the way in. Then press the pedal down truck running install the switch and then let off the brake it will push the switch back and reset it’s position for you.
