2005 Buying Advice Please

Hey Guys, I am going to look at my first 3rd gen Ram and really would like to get some good advice on buying one of these trucks. It is a 2005 1500 quad cab 4WD with the 5.7 Hemi and the 545RFE auto transmission. It has the tow and sport package. It has 101,000 miles and is a 1 owner vehicle. It seems to be in excellent shape except bad rust perforation over both rear wheels.I am so sick of dealing with rust!!! I am not going to buy it if it is very rusty underneath. Any drivetrain ,electrical, steering or suspension tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!

Check what rear it hasthere is a recall on 05s for pinion nuts coming loose. That's all I can remember. But the 05 tuning is much easier then the 03-04's. So you should be good there.

Well boys, I bought the truck and it's home.Low miles and super clean in and out save for the bed rust.Runs great, everything works as it should and I stole it!.Having it thoroughly checked out today including FEA. So stoked! I loved my old '93 D150, but my god! What a difference in technology! Here's a few pics.
