05 ram 1500 p0315 code

So yesterday after hitting a hard bump my truck stalled. After a few more shopping stops the check engine light came on flashing and it went into what seemed like limp mode. Wouldn't shift into 4th gear and up to 40 mph would drive fine. Pulled the code and it said p0315 which is a crankshaft sensor variation not learned. Today I cleared the code and unplugged the sensor and plugged it back in. Now mo code on but it seems to hesitate several times up to 40 mph. When I step on it it hesitates badly. And still only goes up to 3rd gear. Is my crankshaft sensor needing to be replaced and can that cause all these issues. Literally started after going through some mud and hitting that bump.

I would also look at the cam sensor to see if the wiring is tight and undamaged.
