Well, Y pipe catastrophe explained-Props to Moe's

Well, as some of you may have seen in my previous header install post, I had to have the y pipe that came with my JBAs completely refabbed to fit right. Well, in my irritated state I emailed Moe's and JBA with pics of all the work done and an unappreciative claim as to the two weeks it put me back with aligning schedules, driving parts around etc to get it done.

Mark contacted me back and explained he had not had issues like this with that setup and was confused as to the level of difficulty and problems I had. Well, a few days later JBA contacted me and assured me it was NOT their y pipe and sent me pics of the one they offered which was noticeably different.

So, I forwarded my whole conversation to Mark and said basically, all is said and done, and apparently I got the short end of the stick on it, but he might want to contact JBA or whoever he gets the shipments from and see if there was a hiccup or whatever to avoid future issues. Apparently they had already discussed the issue and came to the conclusion that there must have been a return to JBA at some point where someone kept the JBA y pipe and sent back a different one for whatever reason. The return must have slipped through and got shipped back out to one lucky recipient....me....haha

Well, long story short, all that took place today while I was at work etc. and Mark had refunded me in full for the y pipe admitting it was obviously not the right part and assuring me that was not the norm, which I would lean towards the benefit of the doubt and believe that. Especially since the reviews of Moe's have always been positive from what I have read on here, hence the reason I ordered all of the stuff from them in the first place. So anyways, I thought it was appropriate to give the shout out to Mark in public, especially since I probably came off a little less than pleasant at first contact. Lol.

Well, I am definitely one to address a situation especially if I am frustrated, but I am also one to make sure to admit fault or give credit if need be. I think everyone should be that way. Too many people vent and rant but don't thank or give credit when things turn out right, or at least the attempt is made. Thanks!

Well done to JustHemi and Matt at Moes Performance.
I've seen first hand someone returning crap and it finding its way back on the shelf for re-issue. Some people are rotten like that and it should have been caught on the return. Moving large volumes (at JBA) can get things bypassed. It happens.

So a nod to JustHemi and to Moes Performance.
