From what I've already read the Magnaflow 18-24" mufflers seem to be the way to go for what I'm looking for but just wanting some confirmation. I want minimal to NO drone when traveling at-speed, a slight rumble at idle is fine. Just basically looking for something better than stock (obviously) This moose sure does like to drink it up and I'm looking to do all I can to negate this.

For the same reasons you mentioned I run Flowmaster 50 series. Nice rumble when you hammer it, but not really noticeable when your going down the road. Wish I had a sound clip for you.

Sorry - that above link I posted was for a 4.7 Dodge Ram

Here's a vid of the interior noise for a FM 50 series...

And here's a vid on a 2006 Hemi Ram with the FM 44 series... (go to 1.00 for the sound of the system)

I have the Magnaflow cat back on my 07 1500. I love it! It sounds great at all speeds and it was bolt on.
