Welcome to HTC!

If you remove the resonator, you will have in-cab drone at speeds above 35-40 mph. That will get old pretty quick. Might want to replace the stock muffler with a more free-flowing aftermarket exhaust.

I think your best bet would be an 18" or probably even bigger 22" Magnaflow and leave the resonators on. I've been researching a lot trying to decide what I want to do with the exhaust on this truck. It seems the bigger Magnaflow will give you nice tones without being too loud. Leaving the resonators on will minimize the drone you're trying to avoid. If you go that route, I'd go ahead and look into a y-pipe while you're under there to open up the exhaust flow a little more.

Leave the resonator in place to keep drone down and swap out the muffler for an aero3030xl nice while Crusing but screams when stomped

I have the 14" Magnaflow with the resonators left on. Can barely hear it when cruising but a nice sound when you step on it. The 14" might be a little louder than what you are looking for so I would agree with Ram and say the 18 or 22 would be a good fit for you.
