Phoenix area header install shop?

Anyone in the greater Phoenix are know of a good shop to have some long tube headers installed at a reasonable price? While I am very mechanically inclined, I do live in an apt with no jack stands or those small ramps to do it myself.

Welcome to HTC.

I did a quick online search and you have at least three DIY automotive bay rentals in the Pheonix/Mesa area.
Do your pocket book a favor and do your own labor on the headers! A very easy install on our Hemis.

Hey thanks Cav I didn't think about that route. I'll look into it.

On a side note, I was 3/6 Cav at Hood. That's the unit that made me want out. lol

So this is a reply I got when i was searching for a shop to install headers on my 04 ram reg cab 2wd:

"We have drive in lifts, the suspension stays tight. You have to remove the transmission cross member for removal of the stock converter assembly. On certain header assemblies you need to remove the motor mount and support the engine. We do not have the correct safety equipment for that install. Sorry. "

Garage
No need for any of that. Remove the the front wheels and inner fenders. I did mine on jack stands.

That's what I told him. The quote I posted was his response to that. No jackstands or a chop saw so i have to either find a diy shop or find a shop that knows better. lol

I have a friend in the muffler and brake service off of 7th street and Dunlap. His name is Mark and he use to or still does own or part own Mad Hatter Muffler and Brakes. He knows his stuff! Just let him know that Jim with the Blue HEMI 4x4 Ram refer you to him. Don't know if he will give you any price break if you mention me, but it wouldn't hurt. Last time we met was a couple of months ago when he installed a "X" pipe on my Ram (BTW - let him know, if you talk to him, it did exactly what I wanted it to do). Name and number is on Google maps. Let me know if you have problems finding it on-line. I'll pm the info if need be.

We were members of the same classic car club some time back. He drives, or use to drive, a 1970 Mach I.

His new shop is a little snug to drive into. Just watch your mirrors!

Ok I'll look up that shop. I went to mad hatter in Mesa to get a magnadliw muffler installed but I wasn't very impressed with the work.

For what it's worth 4.9 on the reviews

It's very much like auto body and paint shops. One painter will "Orange Peel" his work to no end. Same outfit, different painter, will squirt out a masterpiece over your sheet metal. It's all about talent based on the individual! Names really don't mean too much...
