muffler fell off!

After 5 years of weather and unforgiving roads the Flowmaster is no more. I was driving home (happened last week) and went across a rough section on one of the streets in town. Then a short time later I hit one good bump and that did it. The front casing of the muffler came apart and is still holding to the pipes by the welds. Thankfully it didn't fall off when driving and one of the hangers kept it in place till I got home. So now I'm back to driving a much louder truck. Not as loud as it was when I ran true duals with no mufflers and 3.5 tips but still loud no less. Thanks god we don't have emission testing here.

Here's what's left of the FM. You can also see the other 2 pipes that were connected to the back of the muffler but they fell off back in November. Both broke at the welds at the muffler.

Underneath the truck you can see the front casing (now split, it wasn't last week) still connected to the pipes.

I did tear up an exhuast system all to hell running over a dead deer laying in the middle of the road with my old lowered chevy truck. I was going way too fast trying to get home and was trapped in my lane by oncoming traffic. I felt pretty lucky I didn't have any body damage. As I pulled up to the carport I saw my wife's Lincoln with the airbags deployed and the front end torn up. I didn't have to ask what she hit. My insurance guy said you both hit the same deer???

Yep, think I'm done with FM too. Back in '08 I was running dual 40 series on my 'Hoe and one of the inlets broke off. Still haven't fixed that after 4.5 years. I cut the other side off to match. I would really like to get a couple Supertrapps and have them exit in front of the rear passenger tire. Not sure if I want to spend that kind of money on mufflers though.
