Loss of power after header install

Got shorty headers applied today, JBA ceramic silver coated. Headers are an exact fit for the truck. Problem is that it seems I've lost low end power and torque when I expected just the opposite. What a disappointment. What the heck is wrong???

With shortys it will feel like you lost low end torque (which you may have a little) but that's because shortys are better mid to high rpm headers what you may be feeling is the lack of bottom due to mid and high

Long tubes give you torque and a noticeable amount at that just my 2c

Have you made any other mods than the headers?

Long tube headers are better all around than mid and shorty headers. Even on a turbocharged engine.

All that should help with flow. I'm a little surprised you have a loss as IMO anything is better than the OEM manifolds. Did you reset the PCM? Maybe that will give you a fresh start.
