Keep Single or go Dual?

Ok guys I am getting ready to get the muffler changed and want to know if there is any advantage to going to a dual out over my current single out system?

MagnaFlow Y-pipe is the most important component ...after that 3" through a single high quality muffler straight out the back and lose the resonator if you possibly can IMO .

Quite a bit of restriction with the factory y-pipe at least on the gen. 3 trucks and I believe the same is true on the newer ones as well .

Take a look at your Y pipe where the two pipes meet into one, they are almost crushed. There is a restriction in that joint. A good aftermarket Y pipe is mandrel bent (No collapsed pipe), and the joint is mitered together to keep a good unrestricted flow of exhaust. This in itself is a huge performance improvement over the stock pipe.
