I got my headers on today

Gettin started



Soakin the bolts



Got th off



The dif in stock vs hedman


Got them back on







So much for header paint



It went pretty good. All the bolts came out pretty easy. No cel the non fowlers seem to be workin. The butt dyno approves this message.

How do you have the rest of the exhaust routed? I got to decide what I want to do with that still.

That's a sweet setup. So you are not using cats? When I did my 03 I used Magnaflow 3" cats that I cut the "Y" pipe to fit. Basically looks like yours with two cats. LT's IMO are a great mod. Well done...

Edit: I used the old manifold heat shields and wrapped the hoses and wires on the driver side. Used heat tubing (Auto Zone for the odd piece that ran anywhere near the exhaust and a starter wrap. I've had no heat related problems.

No cats as of now. We'll see what happens come inspection time next year.

Give it some time, I think I went a month before my first cel popped up. I have the same setup, just different brands. I went with the ceramic coating and they still look brand new almost 2 years later.

I use high temp 2000* black rustoleum paint and it wont blister or flake like that....

I been planning to use the pacesetter setup like that but haven looked into the headman setup.
